On the morning of September 11 th , Mr. Yi Xiaozhun, Vice Minister of Ministry of Commerce, had a meeting with Mr. Kandeh Yumkella, the visiting Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on enhancing the cooperation between China and UNIDO, Sino-Africa Cooperation Forum, UN reform and increasing the number of Chinese employees in UN systems, especially in UNIDO.
After the meeting, Vice Minister Yi Xiaozhun and Yumkella signed a MOU on enhancing South-South Cooperation on Industry and Minutes of Talk on the next Country Service Framework (2006-2010) between China and UNIDO. |
