The start-up meeting of "Promoting an Enabling Environment for Civil Society Development in China "project was held in Beijing on March 9,2005 at UNDP China office. Ms. Wang Weili, the Assistant Director General of the China International of Centre for Economic and Technical Exchanges (CICETE), Ms. Hou Xinan, the Assistant Resident Representative UNDP China, Ms. Zhou Hongyun, the Deputy Director of Department of Domestic Studies, the China Centre for Comparative Politics and Economics (CCCPE), Mr. Liu Zhongxiang, the Deputy Director, of the Ministry of Civil Affairs (MOCA) attended the meeting. This project has two NEAs, which shall together develop a close cooperation mechanism, share discuss the findings of joint production.
