5.12 earthquake disaster has caused serious life and property loss in Chongzhou city of Sichuan Province, UNDP water project site. To support local earthquake relief, on May 13, CICETE, National PMO of Ministry of Water Resources, UNDP China Office and project partner - Coca-Cola China Company, after consulting with Chongzhou city, agreed to provide urgent assistant to disaster areas under Water Project, with tents, medicines, food and drinking water valued RMB 100,000. Currently, tents and medicine are under urgent procurement and will be sent out as quickly as possible.
