The program office of the second phase of China-EU Intellectual Poverty Protection Program was inaugurated in the 15th floor of CICETE on 27 November 2007. Mr. Wang Yue, Director General of CICETE participated in the inauguration ceremony. Mr. Wang Chao, Assistant Minister of Commerce and Mr. Peter Mandelson, EU Trade Commissioner were present at the ceremony and delivered speeches, wishing the program to operate successfully in future. High-level representatives from Ministry of Commerce, EU China Delegation and embassies of EU countries attended the ceremony.
