Hosted by CICETE and supported by UNDP, the International Workshop on JCL Bio-diesel Industrial Development was held on 30 -31 October 2007 i n Haikou city, Hainan province. Mme. Wang Weili , Deputy Director General of CICETE participated in the workshop and delivered an opening speech. This international workshop is an important event of the UNDP-funded Green Poverty Alleviation project in 2007. Representatives from Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Science and Technologies, National Bureau of Forestry, Hainan provincial government and UNDP China Office and over 300 enterprises representatives and scholars from 25 countries were present at the workshop and had in-depth discussion on JCL bio-diesel industrialization, standardization, marketing and other technical issues.
