International Forum on Experiences - Obstacles - Problems of International Marketability in Solar Energy Products and Techniques was held at Solar Energy Heating & Cooling Technology Experiment and Demonstration Center of Gansu Natural Energy Research Institute on July 5, 2007, organized by Asia-Pacific Research and Training Center for Solar Energy and Gansu Natural Energy Research Institute (GNERI). The forum was jointly sponsored by China International Center for Economic & Technical Exchanges (CICETE), UNIDO International Solar Energy Center for Technology Promotion and Transfer (ISEC), National Development and Reform Commission/World Bank/GEF China Renewable Energy Development Project Office, Chinese Renewable Energy Society and Gansu Academy of Sciences, coordinated by Beijing Yuansheng Solar Energy Science & Technology Co. Ltd.,

Dr. Zhao Yongli, Assistant Director General of CICETE addressed the opening ceremony of the forum. More than 90 prominent experts, scholars, government officials and entrepreneurs in solar energy field, from Pakistan, Russia, Georgia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan as well as some related international agencies participated in the forum. This forum was served as a platform for the participants to share thorough knowledge in solar energy fields and explore the future cooperation. At the end of the forum, all the participants extended their gratitude to the forum organizers and sponsors for providing this excellent opportunity.
