Formulation of national cooperation policy with UNDP and UNIDO, execution of China-UNDP and China- UNIDO cooperation programs, including allocation of funds, project/program identification, formulation, evaluation and promotion of the achievements;

Execution of multilateral and bilateral programs from other resources;

Promotion of International and national personnel exchange and cooperation, and recruitment of international and national experts, United Nations Volunteers to serve in China and fielding of Chinese experts and volunteers to other developing countries for technical services;

Organization of international & national conference, symposiums and workshops;

Organization of training and study tour at home and abroad to support human resource development and capacity building at all levels;

Organization of South-South technical cooperation activities to strengthen multilateral economic and technical exchanges and cooperation between China and other developing countries, thereby, to promote trade as well as mutual investment;

Provision of technical and financial support to remote areas and poor areas and capacity-building to NGOs at grass-root level through cooperation with domestic and international partners;

Promotion of export business of IT enterprises to foster stable development of service trade;

Provision of other intermediary and professional service to government, enterprises and society as needed.
