CAREC Business Development Forum Kicked off in Xinjiang

29-30 July 2010, Urumqi - Business Development Forum of Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC), co-sponsored by Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Finance, People’s Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and Asian Development Bank, was held successfully in Urumqi, Xinjiang Autonomous Region with the theme topic of “joining efforts with business community, and making a more prosperous Central Asia”. Vice Minister of Commerce Yi Xiaozhun delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. More than 300 representatives from business community and multilateral organizations and 100 governmental officials from Central Asia participated in the Forum.

CICETE, as the organizer of this forum, successfully completed all the logistic work. Zhao Zhongyi, Deputy Director General of CICETE attended the forum and participated in all related activities.
