Science and Technology Supporting Poverty Reduction Project Holds Its Sum-Up Meeting and Achievement Show in Guangxi

26 February 2010 Guangxi － “Promoting Innovative and Sustainable Science and Technology Support to Poverty Reduction in Rural China”, a project executed by CICETE, held its sum-up meeting and achievement show in Yulin, Guangxi province. CICETE Director General Yao Shenhong chaired the meeting. The meeting reviewed experience and project accomplishments over the three years of implementation, awarded model Technical Task Forces and experts together with a multi-dimensional show of the project achievements. Vice Minister of Science and Technology Zhang Laiwu and UNDP China Country Director Subinay Nandy attended the meeting.
